Mr. and Mrs. Bud (Martha) Thompson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on December 29, 2006, with a trip to Nashville, TN.

Their children, grandchildren and great-grandchild honored them with a surprise dinner on Saturday, December 16, 2006. Attending the dinner were Steve and Teri Johnson of Ardmore, AL, Scott and Nita Harper of Maylene, AL, Tony, Julie and Cole Lindeman of Priceville, AL, Lance and Chrissy Wales of Clarksville, TN, Bobby Frye of Auburn, AL, and Bradley Frye of Auburn, AL.
