Senior Lady Tigers Honored

Courtney Browning and Amy Collier were named to the second team when THE NEWS COURIER recently announced their All-Area Volleyball Team. All five Ardmore seniors received recognition as Ashton Smith, Chelsea Blakely and Lauren Atchley received honorable mention recognition.

Abbie Melvin of Athens Bible School was named Player of the Year. Her coach, April Davis, was named Coach of the Year.

First team selections include: Athens Bible School - Kirsten McClure; East Limestone - Rachel Stander, Edrea Danielly; Elkmont - Bailee Robinson, Jamie Lack, Emily Sutton.

Second team selections include: Ardmore - Browning, Collier; Athens Bible School - Christina Ivey; Clements - Chelsea Kimbrough, Lauren Patrick; East Limestone - Erin Fudge; West Limestone - Elizabeth Dison.

Honorable selections include: Ardmore - Smith, Blakely, Atchley; Athens Bible School - Emily Cathey, Hannah Owen; Clements - Sallie Van Kirk, Jordan Beggs; East Limestone - Bess Rhodes, Morgan Franks; Elkmont - Brooke Pressnell, Ashley Roberson; Tanner - Ashley Hines, Cecily Woods, Haley Keenum; West Limestone - Morgan Adams.
