Matthew Smith Leads All Scorers

Matthew Smith scored 19 points to lead the Ardmore B-team to a 43-33 win at Clements last Friday.

The Tigers used unanswered scoring runs in each quarter except the fourth in getting the victory.

Smith scored six unanswered points as Ardmore scored the last 12 points of the opening quarter.

In the second quarter with the Tigers leading 18-4 Clements reeled off eight consecutive points before Ardmore scored the next eight points,.

Ardmore scored the first six points of the third quarter to lead 31-13.

The winners scored the last four points of the third and first four of the fourth for their final scoring run.

Jonathan Shannon knocked down a pair of 3-pointers in Ardmore’s 13-point second quarter. Shannon and Jake Marlow added six points each for the Tigers. Jeffery Boyce scored four, Clay Wales three and Matt Lannom two. Eight Colts scored with Dakota Shaw leading the way with 10.
