Classes resumed at EHS on Monday, January 8. Everyone quickly got back to working in the classroom. Sports continued as usual. Sign-ups continued this past week for baseball and softball. Many basketball games continued this week, too. Monday, January 8th the Jr. Girls played against Athens Bible School. Tuesday, January the 9th the Junior Varsity Boys, Varsity Girls, and Varsity Boys played against Athens Bible School. Thursday, January 11 the Junior Varsity Boys, Varsity Girls, and Varsity Boys played against East Limestone. Friday, January 12 Junior Varsity Boys, Varsity Boys, Varsity Girls played against Madison Academy.
Saturday, January 13 Middle School Boys, Junior Varsity Girls, Junior Varsity Boys, Varsity Girls, Varsity Boys played against Tanner.
The featured seniors this week are Kirstie Clem, Jesse Clutts, and Christina Comarotti.

Kirstie Clem is the daughter of Charles and Regina Clem. Her hobbies and interests are going to the beach, shopping, running, and spending time with her friends and family. Her future plans are to attend the University of Alabama and major in Athletic Training. Her favorite memories at EHS are the Friday night football games. To lower classmen, Kirstie says, “It’s not as bad as it seems.” She will miss seeing her friends during class and in the hallways.

Jesse Clutts is the son of Tim and Debbie Clutts. His hobbies and interests are Alabama football, computers, music, and World Wrestling Entertainment. His future plans are to get a good job and make BIG BUCKS! His favorite memory at EHS is being a senior. His advice to his lower classmen is enjoy life while you can. He will miss seeing his friends the most.

Christina Comarotti is the daughter of Barbara Wagner and John Camorotti. Her hobbies and interests are cheerleading, cosmetology, and hanging out with her friends. Her future plans are to go to college and pursue other careers in cosmetology. Her favorite memory at EHS is going to Nationals for cheerleading. Her advice to her lower classmen is as follows: “You have to believe in yourself even when no one else does.” She will miss seeing her friends and cheerleading.
