Elkton Baptist To Host CHO Benefit Saturday
A benefit for Christians Helping Others (CHO) of Ardmore will be held Saturday, January 20, at the Elkton Baptist Church in Elkton, TN. The benefit will begin at 6 p.m. Admission is free, but everyone is asked to bring donations of nonperishable food items for the CHO Food Bank.


New Auctioneer At Fowler
Although Daniel Culps is not new to Fowler Auction & Real Estate Service, Inc. of Toney, AL, as he’s been associated with the company since he was 14 years old, he has recently joined the ranks of licensed Auctioneers. Daniel is the son of Ardmore residents, Wayne and Vicky Culps.


Elkton City Council Meeting Held
The Elkton, TN City Board of Mayor and Aldermen welcomed the New Year with a word of prayer by Alderman Roosevelt Whitfield at the January 11 scheduled city meeting. The board unanimously approved the minutes of the December 14 meeting as well as all expenditures.


Soldiers Need Our Support
There are many ways that we can support our soldiers. Sometimes just a friendly note or some news from home means a lot to these soldiers who are far away from their families.


Financial Aid Night Thursday At LCHS
A Financial Aid Information Night will be held Thursday, January 18, at Lincoln County High School. The meeting will be from 6:00 -7:00 p.m. in the school library.





Tigers Split Area Games
The Ardmore Tigers picked up an area win and an area loss on the hardwoods. On Tuesday Madison County won the battle of the Tigers 73-63 while on Friday Ardmore defeated Columbia 53-47.


Lady Tigers Get Two Area Wins
Jennifer Mills led the Ardmore Lady Tigers to a pair of area wins last week. The Lady Tigers hit the road and defeated the Lady Tigers at Madison County last Tuesday 54-33 before traveling to Huntsville Friday to defeat Columbia 48-31.


First National Bank Makes Donation To Softball Program
Continuing their long and outstanding tradition of community service, First National Bank presented the Ardmore High School Softball Program with a sizable donation last week.

Junior Lady Tigers Win One, Lose One
It was a win and a loss for the Ardmore Junior Lady Tigers as the cage season winds down. Ardmore fell at East Limestone 37-25 before defeating Elkton 37-14.


Young Tigers Win Two
The Ardmore Middle School Tiger produced 110 points in a pair of games while limiting their opponents to 65 in wins over Elkton and East Limestone. Last Monday Ardmore traveled to East Limestone and left with a 45-21 win while on Thursday Ardmore turned back Elkton 65-44.


Junior Boys Win Two
Madison County and Columbia are the latest victims of the Ardmore Tiger Junior boys team. The Tigers defeated Madison County 40-20 last Tuesday and picked up a 61-46 win at Columbia last Friday.
