Howdy to all, January is over half gone. Sure has been warm this winter. Those cold days in early December had me thinking it was going to be a really cold winter. But the weather people are predicting a cool down. I’m sure we will have some arthritis weather before winter is gone.

Robert said I had some daffodils blooming Sunday. This warm weather has me wanting to get started planting the garden, however I know it is too early for most items.

Some folks several years ago planted their Irish potatoes early. The potatoes came up but a freeze bit them back. They came up again, but another freeze bit them back, and they didn’t come back again. Lost those seed potatoes.
