The Junior Varsity Boys, Varsity Girls, Varsity Boys played against Lauderdale County at Elkmont Friday, January 19th. The Limestone County Tournament began Saturday, January 20th for Varsity Boys and Junior Girls. The County Tournament for the Varsity Girls was January 22nd, 23 and 25th.
Wes Isham has been selected to attend the Junior National Young Leaders Conference. The program will introduce Wes and other participants to the rich tradition of leadership throughout American history, while helping them to develop their own leadership skills.
Congratulations to all who participated in the 2007 Spelling Bee! Winners were Will Maddox and Alex Richardson.
The EHS Red Devil Band has scheduled their 2nd annual Red Carpet Affair Beauty Walk March 2 and 3. Forms are available from the school.

Matthew “Murdock” Compton is the son of Mike and Gay Compton. His hobbies and interests are hunting, shooting with his bow, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. His future plans are to attend Auburn University and pursue a nursing career. His favorite memory at EHS is scoring his first touchdown against Ardmore. His advice to his lower classmen is “Make good grades, play hard, and FINISH!” He will miss playing football for Coach McGehee.

Darance Cosby is the son of Drenda Cosby. His hobbies and interests are anything hip-hop. His future plans are to become a music producer. His favorite memories at EHS are getting into trouble with his friends. His advice to his lower classmen is “Stay out of detention.” He will miss the fun times.

Jessica Dawn Cox is the daughter of Everett and Anita Cox. Her hobbies and interests are music, singing, and dancing. Her future plans are to become a Lab technician or a Registered Nurse. Her advice to her lower classmen is “Don’t give up.” She will miss her friends most.
