Chamber Blood Drive Is Huge Success

Maalac Steele, director of the Ardmore Chamber, reported that the Ardmore Chamber Blood Drive was a great success. The expected goal was 15, but a whopping 37 Donors showed up! They ran out of almost everything including T shirts! The last few donors were treated to Crape Myrtle Festival shirts instead of LifeSouth shirts.

“Some people waited as long as an hour to donate their blood. It really says something about the people here and I am so proud to be a part of this”, said Steele.

“Thanks to everyone who gave their time, door prizes, and blood. This truly was a community event,” Steele added.
