Laura Lynn Key, 40, of Love Lane, Harvest, AL, died Sunday, January 21, 2007, at Huntsville Hospital, Huntsville, AL.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 24, at 11 a.m. at Christian Fellowship Church, Highway 53, Harvest, AL, with Bro. Jerry Hovis and Bro. Leroy Landers officiating. Burial will be in the Ford’s Chapel Cemetery in Harvest with Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home in charge.

Survivors include her mother, Birdie Ferguson of Harvest, AL; her husband, Tim Key of Harvest, AL; son, Jonothan Randolph of Harvest, AL; three step-sons, Weston Key of Connecticut, Chris Key of Auburn, AL, and Owen Key of Virginia; two daughters, Bailey Bates and Jessica Key both of Harvest, AL; three sisters, Joann Bailey of Ardmore, AL, Mary McClure of Madison, AL, and Amanda Bishop of Huntsville, AL; step-grandson, Kalab Key; step-brother, Billy Randolph, Jr. of Hazel Green, AL.

Pallbearers will be Weston Key, Chris Key, Jackie Hovis, Bobby Hovis, Keith Bailey, B.J. Bailey, Jerry Jackson and Tony McClure.

Eula Mae McConnell, 77, of Lawrenceburg, TN, formerly of Ardmore, AL, died Sunday, January 21, 2007, at Countryside Rehabilitation in Lawrenceburg.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 24, at 2 p.m. at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Billy Joe Sharp officiating. Burial will be in the Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore with Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home in charge.

Eula Mae was born March 27, 1929 in Pettusville, AL, to Joe Wheeler Gates and Susie Pearl Watkins Gates. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by husbands, Harold Brown Culps and Woodrow Cole McConnell.

Survivors include two daughters, Kathie (Jackie) Bonee of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Mary Jo (Steve) Powers of Toney, AL; five grandchildren, Scott Lovett, Bobbie Lynn Garland, Nichole Smith, Stefanie Reyer and Jessica Garland; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Gerald Clay Gates, 76, of AL Highway 251, Elkmont, AL, died Monday, January 22, 2007, at Athens-Limestone Hospital, Athens, AL.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 24, from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 25, at 11 a.m. at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Joe Greer, Bro. Randall Hammock, and Bro. William Lewis officiating. Burial will be in the Gatlin Cemetery with Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home in charge.

Survivors include one son, Gary Gates of Pulaski, TN; two daughters, Cheryl Gates of Athens, AL, and Karen Gates Lewis of Pulaski, TN; a special friend, Willa Dean Berzett of Athens, AL; four brothers, Carl Gates and Mack Gates of Athens, Hank Gates of Ardmore, and Byron Gates of Elkton; two sisters, Lucille Hargrove of Ardmore and Iris Dean McAnear of Decatur, AL; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
