Mark and Margie Clinard of Ardmore, AL, announce the engagement of their daughter, Leslie Ann, to Andrew Clayton Abernathy, son of Ms. Beth Speer, the late Stephen F. Speer, and Dr. Moulton D. Abernathy, Jr.

Leslie is the granddaughter of the late Mamie and Willie Turner and the late Louise and Almon Clinard. She will graduate in May from Belmont University with a Doctorate of Occupational Therapy.

Andy is the grandson of the late Rebecca and Herbert Bass and the late Moulton and Patricia Abernathy. He will graduate in May from Tennessee Technological University with a Master’s in biology.

The wedding will be May 5 at Franklin Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Franklin, TN.
