County Host Area

The Area 14 4A Tournament for girls will be held at East Limestone and the area tournament for boys will be held at Madison County later this week. The goal for all four schools is to finish either champion or runner up to extend the season. A first round loss will end the season.
Girls play will be held Thursday and Saturday. Boys will see action Friday and Monday.
The Ardmore girls face Madison County in Thursday’s 6 p.m. opener at East Limestone. Top seeded East faces Columbia in the nightcap.
Thursday’s winners will face off at 7 p.m. Saturday to determine a champion. The champion will host a sub-region game on Thursday at 7 p.m. The runner-up will travel to a sub-region game at the same time.
Ardmore and East Limestone meet at 6 p.m. at Madison County on Friday. The winner of that game will face the Madison County versus Columbia winner at 7 p.m. on Monday.
As the girls, the top two finishers will continue play on Monday.
Area 14 teams will face Area 15 teams in the sub-region. That region includes East Lawrence, Fairview, Lawrence County and Priceville.
A sub-region win assures you of an appearance at Wallace State in the Northwest Regional Tournament on Thursday, February 22.

Thursday, February 8: Game 1- 6 p.m. - Ardmore vs. Madison County, Game 2- 7:30 p.m. -East Limestone vs. Columbia.
Saturday, February 10 - 7 p.m. - Championship.
Boys at Madison County
Friday, February 9: Game 1 - 6 p.m. - Ardmore vs. East Limestone; Game 2 - 7:30 p.m. - Madison County vs. Columbia.
Monday, February 12 - 7 p.m. - Championship
