Kyle Helums, son of Justin and Toni Helums of Taft, TN, killed his first deer, a spike while hunting in Lincoln County in December. He was accompanied by his grandfather, Ray Sawyers, and his uncle, Robert Sawyers. Kyle is in fourth grade at Blanche.
