Albert C. Cole Albert C. Cole, 84, of Empire, AL, died Tuesday, February 6, 2007, at his residence. Funeral services were held Friday, February 9, at New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Leonard Rigsby officiating. Burial was in the New Horizon Memorial Gardens with New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home in charge. Albert C. Cole was a retired coal miner and a member of the Maryland Lodge No. 783 F&AM in Sipsey. He was preceded in death by his son, Larry Reuben Cole; parents, Micahel Byrd and Jessie Mullins Cole; sisters, Alta Johnsey and Ola Sanders Johnson; and a brother, John Cole. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Jimmie Lee Cole of Empire; daughters, Betty Mollkoy and husband Ron of Empire, and Ginger Lane Newman of Ardmore, TN; son, Tommy Cole and wife Carol of Empire; 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, sisters Helen Moseley, Bertha Capps and Edalene Alexander all of Empire; brother, Sam Cole of Missouri; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Pallbearers were Ronnie Mollkoy, Michael Carlton, Keith Allen Lane, Jamie Lane, Kenny Carlton, Brian Clark and Andrew Clark. Honorary pallbearers were Frank Cole of Hazel Green and Tim Lane of Empire, AL. |
