AHS Band Auction Feb. 25
Area residents will have an opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of the award winning Ardmore High School Band as the annual Band Auction will be held this Saturday, February 25.

Basket Mania Set Saturday
The Blanche PTF will sponsor Basket Mania Saturday, February 25, at Blanche School. Events begin at 10 a.m.

10th Anniversary Open House Planned
The Ardmore Companion Animal Hospital is celebrating its 10th Anniversary with an Open House Friday, March 3. The activities begin at noon and will continue until 6 p.m. at the animal hospital located at 26889 Main Street in Ardmore across from McDonald's.

Police Reserves Hold Awards Banquet
Members of the Ardmore Police Reserves were feted to an evening of fine food and public recognition on the evening of January 14 as the Ardmore Police Department hosted the 2nd Annual Police Reserves Awards Banquet.

Eural Claxton of the East Limestone community has officially announced his candidacy for the 5th District Alabama House of Representatives seat being vacated by incumbent Tommy Carter.

Melissa Sharp Signs With RedHawks
Melissa Sharp, a name quite familiar to fans of Ardmore High School athletics, has signed a scholarship to play softball for Martin Methodist College. Sharp's signing came at a special ceremony held at AHS on Monday, February 20.

Blanche School Holds Athletic Banquet
Blanche School held its annual Athletic Banquet Thursday night, February 9, paying tribute to the players and coaches of the football, basketball and volleyball teams, as well as parents and members of the community who contributed time and support to Bulldog sports.

New Softball Complex Nears Completion
After several years of planning, hard work and community contributions, the new softball field at Ardmore High School is nearing completion. According to Lady Tiger Head Coach Mike Jackson, the field should be ready for play in a couple of weeks.
