Masonic Bean Day Is Today
Members of The Ardmore Masonic Lodge will be serving up a bean lunch Wednesday, March 7, for their annual Bean Day. The meal will be available from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the First National Bank Community Room. Lodge members will be serving up beans and all the fixin’s.


Ardmore City Council Meets
The City of Ardmore, Tennessee met in regular session March 1st and opened with a word of prayer and unanimous approval of last month’s minutes and expenditures.


Cheerleaders Return to Defend Titles
The Ardmore Varsity Cheerleaders will return to the Smoky Mountain Spring Spectacular Cheerleading Competition in Gatlinburg, Tennessee on March 9 and 10 to defend their titles.


SunBridge Honors Longtime Employee
Elizabeth Hargrove was honored Friday, March 2, at a reception for her service to SunBridge Care & Rehabilitation for Ardmore for the past 29 years. The reception was hosted by her fellow SunBridge staff members and residents of SunBridge. Cassie Mistretta, administrator, presented a plaque to Elizabeth and Jane Miller, her supervisor, presented a framed poem to her during the reception.


Boys & Girls Club Dinner And Auction March 15th
The Ardmore Boys and Girls Club will host it’s 8th Annual Dinner and Auction on Thursday, March 15th at 6:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church Family Life Center in Ardmore. Area business people and citizens will gather for good food and entertainment.




Golden Eagles Win Eight In A Row
The visiting Athens Golden Eagles won their eighth game in a row Saturday at Ardmore High School after picking up a pair of wins over the Tigers. The visitors won the opener 13-4 before eeking out an 8-7 win in the second game. On Friday the Tigers dropped a 10-7 decision to the Clements Colts.


Tigers Will Play Host To County Tournament
It will take six games to determine a champion in the Limestone County Varsity Baseball Tournament that begins in Ardmore on Friday.


U16 Athens Boys Soccer Team


Tigers Get Another Soccer Win
The Ardmore Tiger soccer team picked up another win last week stopping the West Morgan Rebels 2-1.


Lady Tigers Stop Two
The Ardmore Lady Tigers won two and lost two last weekend in the Hazel Green Invitational Tournament. On Friday Ardmore fell to Grissom 3-1 before stopping Hueytown 5-1. On Saturday East Limestone stopped Ardmore 8-6 before the Lady Tigers defeated Buckhorn 5-1.


9th Grade Football Jamboree Thursday Night At Blanche
The Blanche Gridiron Club will host the 9th Grade Spring Jamboree Thursday, March 8th on the Jim Cooper Field at Blanche School.


Doughnut Sale Saturday To Benefit Tiger Football
The Ardmore Quarterback Club and members of the football team will be out in force Saturday morning, March 10th in downtown Ardmore, selling Krispy Kreme doughnuts.
