City Board Votes To Move Ahead With New City Hall Project, No Public Hearing
Although spring is still a couple of weeks away, storm clouds and turbulence rolled across the City of Ardmore, TN Board of Mayor and Aldermen, meeting in scheduled session last Thursday night.

22 Named To All-County Honor Band
The Ardmore High School Band, long held in high regard by band directors in the county and the state, continued its tradition of excellence and high standards recently. Twenty-two members of the band were named to the All-Limestone County Honor Band.
Ardmore To Join Economic Development Commission
The City of Ardmore Board of Mayor and Aldermen, meeting in scheduled session last Thursday night, passed a motion to join the Giles County Economic Development Commission.

AHS Tiger Band Receives High Marks
Continuing its tradition of excellence, the Ardmore High School Band, under the direction of Stanley Nelson, received a bevy of Superior Ratings at the District Band Competition, held last week at Decatur High School.

Tycer Announces Candidacy
The Committee to Elect Kim Tycer announces that Kim Tycer is a candidate for Giles County General Sessions Court Judge. Kim is an attorney in private practice in Pulaski and has resided in Giles County since 1995. Rich Woolard is Campaign Manager and Phillip K. Baddour is Treasurer of the committee.
Ralston Throws Hat In Ring
Sandy Ralston has announced her candidacy for the Register of Deeds office in Giles County. The general election will be held in August 2006.

Blanche School Bulldogs Host Jim Cooper Spring Jamboree Thursday Night
Blanche School will play host to a competitive field of football teams tomorrow, Thursday, March 9 as the Jim Cooper Spring Jamboree kicks off at 4 PM.

Varsity Lady Tigers Pick Up Early Season Wins
The Varsity Lady Tigers Softball Team won their first three season games last week. On Monday, Ardmore defeated Hazel Green 2-1 and 9-0 in a double header. On Thursday the Lady Tigers defeated Clements 5-2. Ardmore will travel to Orange Beach this weekend to play in the annual Gulf Shores High School Invitational Tournament.
Tigers Top Priceville In Late Inning Rally
Members of the Ardmore High School Boys' Varsity Basketball Team, Girls' Varsity Basketball Team and Varsity Cheerleading Squad were honored last Thursday night as the school held its annual Winter Sports Banquet.
