First American Bank Holds Ribbon Cutting For New Office At East Limestone

Jeff Hodges, Limestone County President for First American Bank and Jim Tompkins, Manager of the new First American Bank office at 27453 Capshaw Road, celebrated a Ribbon Cutting with the Limestone County Chamber of Commerce Friday, March 3, 2006.

Jeff Hodges spoke and welcomed the additional First American Bank office to Limestone County. He also acknowledged the spirit of community support that First American Bank offers the Limestone area. Many local dignitaries including David Seibert, Limestone County Commission Chairman and Dennis Black, Principal of East Limestone High School attended to support the new office and growth for East Limestone.

The Limestone Advisory Bank Board includes: William Anderson, Mike Bennett, Bill Davis, Timothy Fogg, Mickey Fowler, Carl Hunt, Fred Pepper and John Plunk.

The day included a welcome celebration with refreshments and gifts to all visitors. After the welcome statements by Hodges, Tompkins, Mark Zirbel, Joe Shunnarah and an invocation by Norm Webb, the group went out for the Ribbon cutting at 3:30 PM.

Local Boy and Girl Scout troops participated with a flag raising ceremony and the East Limestone High School band played the National Anthem. Hugh Ball from the Limestone County Chamber of Commerce provided the ribbon and scissors to officially open the new First American Bank office.

The new office will offer a complete line of personal and business financial services along with mortgage, securities and insurance.
