Rabies Clinics Scheduled By Patricia Coulter The Lincoln County Health Department will hold its annual rabies vaccination clinics on March 24 and March 31. The clinics are held in accordance with the 2005 rabies control laws. All dogs and cats age 6 months or older are required to be vaccinated. Residents can take their animals to Blanche School on Saturday, March 24, from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. for rabies vaccinations. Certificates and tags will be given for each animal vaccinated. Health Department officials will be at Highland Rim School in Fayetteville on Saturday, March 31, from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. They will also be in downtown Dellrose on Saturday, March 31, from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. The fee is $7.00 per animal. All Lincoln County veterinary clinics are offering rabies vaccines for the same fee from March 24-31. |
