AHS Soccer Teams Get Different Results

The Ardmore High School varsity boys soccer team won one and lost one last week while the Lady Tigers lost one and battled to a 0-0 deadlock.

The Tigers stopped Madison Academy 4-1. Cole Zeigler and Mitchell Zeigler scored a pair of goals each for Ardmore. Tyler Bush handled the goal keeping duties. The Tigers took 10 hits on the goal.

Later in the week Ardmore fell 1-0 to East Limestone. The Indians won on a penalty kick. Tyler Bush had 17 saves while his teammates had six hits on the goal.

The Lady Tigers dropped a 4-1 decision to East Limestone. Dawn Atkinson scored Ardmore’s only goal. Three of the Lady Indian goals came on penalty kicks.

Susanna Eubanks had 15 saves. The Lady Tigers had 10 hits on the goal.

East Limestone stopped Ardmore 4-0 despite the nine hits on the goal and 15 saves from Eubanks.
