AHS Beauty Walk Set This Weekend

The AHS Beauty Walk, sponsored by the Ardmore Tiger Band Boosters, will be held this weekend March 30-31 in the AHS gymnasium.

Elementary students Grades K-5 from Cedar Hill and Johnson elementary schools will compete on Friday, March 30, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Ardmore High School students, grades 6-12, will compete on Saturday, March 31, beginning at 6:30 p.m. On Saturday morning, March 31, girls up through 5 years of age will compete in the Miss Tiger Preschool divisions set to begin at 11 a.m.

The Burch & Hatfield Tuxedo Fashion Show and Dream Date Contest will be the highlight of Saturday night competitions of the AHS Beauty Walk. The finalists for 2007 are: Elijah Barnes, Matthew Clem, Landon Curtis, Zak Dugger, Will Lewis, Jesse Putman, Jake Stagner, and Randy Toone. They will serve as escorts for the Beauty Walk and will participate in the Burch & Hatfield Prom Preview. The Dream Date winner will be chosen by the Miss AHS contestants and announced on stage during the pageant. The 2007 Dream Date will receive a prize package from Burch & Hatfield and various other sponsors.

Admission is $4.00 for adults and $3.00 for students. Pre-school age children will be admitted free of charge. Contestants will be admitted free, however, family members of contestants will be charged admission.
