Jo Ann Johnson Camp

Jo Ann Johnson Camp, 69, of Pleasant Hill Road, Ardmore, TN, died Saturday, March 24, 2007, at her residence.

Funeral services were held Monday, March 26, at 11 a.m. at Ardmore United Methodist Church with Debbie Eubanks officiating. Burial was in the Hastings Cemetery in Ardmore, AL. Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Jo Ann was born August 5, 1937 to Herbert and Rebecca Elizabeth Johnson in Limestone County, AL. She has lived in the Ardmore area all of her life. Jo Ann was a member of the Ardmore United Methodist Church and past president of the United Methodist Women of the Ardmore Church. She was employed by Jones Drug in Ardmore for many years.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Camp, of Ardmore, TN; son, Tim Camp of Ardmore, TN; daughter, Melody Camp Putman of Ardmore, TN; brother, Sonny Johnson of Ardmore, AL; sister, Lynn Wales of Ardmore, AL; grandchildren, Chase and Hunter Camp, Jesse and Jake Putman, all of Ardmore, TN; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Pallbearers were Chase Camp, Hunter Camp, Jesse Putman, Jake Putman, Jason Wales and Chuck Mullins.

Memorial donations may be made to the Ardmore United Methodist Church.


Kathy Lorene Clemmons

Kathy Lorene Clemmons, 63, of Clem Road, Elkmont, AL, died Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at her residence.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 24, at 1 p.m. at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Doug Caldwell officiating. Burial was in the Sylone Cemetery in Elkmont, AL, with Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home in charge.

Kathy was born July 14, 1943 in Madison County, AL, to George E. Lankford and Olverna Oline Clark Lankford. She spent most of her life in the Elkmont area. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Terry Wayne Williamson.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Clemmons of Elkmont, AL; son, Roger Williamson of Blountsville, AL; daughter, Joyce Wisdom of Silver Springs, FL; brothers, Jimmy Lankford of Hillsville, VA, Ronnie Lankford of Joppa, AL, James Lankford of Toney, AL, and Charles Lankford of Elkton, TN; several half brothers and sisters; several nieces and nephews; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were nephews.


Inez Lawson

Inez Lawson, 89, of Ardmore, AL, died Thursday, March 15, 2007, at SunBridge Care & Rehabilitation for Ardmore.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 17, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home in Fayetteville, TN, with Rev. Sonny Moore officiating. Burial was in the Blanche Cemetery with Gallant Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Lawson was a native of Lincoln County, TN, and the daughter of the late Bert and Mary Roland Thornton. She was a retired dietician aide at the St. Jo Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI.

Survivors include her niece, Linda and Gene Quillen of Ardmore, AL; great niece, Amanda and Steven Biggerstaff; great nephew, Bobby and Melanie Quillen; and other nieces and nephews.


Joe Billy Stevenson

Joe Billy Stevenson, 57, of Toney, AL, died Sunday, March 4, 2007.

Funeral services were held at Hazel Green Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Hillis officiating. Burial was in the Ready Cemetery of Toney with Hazel Green Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. Stevenson was the retired assistant principal of Sparkman Middle School. He was previously an assistant principal of Madison Cross Roads School and teacher and coach at Madison Cross Roads School. He was preceded in death by his mother, Janie Stevenson of Taft, TN; his in-laws, James and Margie Mathis of Toney, AL. His family are members of the Calvary Baptist Church, Opp Reynolds Road, Toney, AL.

Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Delilah Stevenson; one son, Chad Stevenson and special friend, Marcy Lemons; one daughter, Alicia and son-in-law Dave Kelley of Meridianville, AL; one brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Cheryl Stevenson of Murfreesboro, TN; one sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Joey Parker of Nashville, TN; and several nieces and nephews.


Brandon Lee Green

Brandon Lee Green, 21, of Pillar Road, Ardmore, TN, died Monday, March 26, 2007, at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, TN.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 28, from 6-9 p.m. at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 29, at 1 p.m. at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Clyde Carter and Bro. Terry Lee Boldin, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore with Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home in charge.

Brandon was born July 8, 1985, to Rocky and Debbie Smith Green in Pulaski, TN. He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Tony M. Green.

Survivors include his wife, Tasha Fentress Green of Ardmore, TN; son, Brandon Riley Green of Ardmore, TN; his parents, Rocky and Debbie Smith Green of Ardmore, TN; sister, Casey Green of Ardmore, TN; mother and father-in-law, Sherry and Donnie Fentress of Ardmore, TN; grandparents, Evelyn Marie Green of Pulaski, TN, and Burlon and Irene Smith of Ardmore, AL.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy McMillan, Shaun Luna, Jeremy Loggins, Forrest Claunch, Jacob Heard, Josh Boldin and Stoney Green.
