Ardmore Booster Club
Ball Now In Full Swing

With spring’s arrival, Booster Club baseball and softball teams are geared up and ready to get their seasons started.

Opening Ceremonies were held Friday afternoon, March 23 at John Barnes Park with the first pitches made by Town of Ardmore, AL Councilman Billy Shannon and City of Ardmore, TN Aldermen Ken Crosson and Raymond Crabtree.

John Barnes Park in Ardmore, TN is the home to 19 baseball teams and 9 softball teams for this season. Ardmore’s youth leagues range from ages of 4 and 5 up to 12 years old.

This year’s Booster Club President is Spencer Smith; Vice-President is Robert Haney; Treasurer is Gretta Lindsey; and Secretary is Debbie Cantrell. Baseball Commissioner is Chris Miller; Softball Commissioner is Scotty Brazell; and Robin Smith is the 5 & 6 year old Commissioner.

Booster Club President Spencer Smith said, “I am excited about this year, and I know that all the teams are going to do well.”

Booster Club ball seasons will run until the end of May, with tournaments starting the first of June and All-Star games to begin in mid-June.
