by Dwight Turner A Homecoming for all former Blanche High School students and teachers will be held at Blanche School on Saturday, April 1, 2006. Anyone who attended the school, whether they graduated or not, is invited. Dress will be casual and a concession stand with both food and drinks will be available. Those choosing to attend are advised that there is no charge for using the building, however, any donations to the school would be appreciated. Those selecting to make donations may choose what their donation is used for. The entire school, along with the new Roy Crabtree Field House will be open and everyone is encouraged to look around and see the many improvements that have been made at Blanche School. Hours of the event are 10 AM until 2 PM. There will be no planned events. Tables will be set up for registration and nametags will be provided. Everyone is asked to meet and visit in the gym in order to prevent the hallways from becoming crowded. Organizers of the event ask that those attending bring old photographs, yearbooks and other mementos. Tables will be set aside for displays.
