Giles County's Kay Gibbons
Announces Re-Election Bid

Kay Gibbons has announced her intention to seek re-election to the office of Giles County Register of Deeds.

Gibbons is currently serving her first term as Register of Deeds and has served as Chief Deputy of the office in the past.

Gibbons is a 1971 graduate of Bodenham High School and completed a secretarial course at Tennessee Technology Center and attended Martin Methodist College. She is a member of the Tennessee Registers' Association and is a Certified Public Administrator.

"The last four years have been very rewarding," said Gibbons in announcing her re-election bid. "The staff and myself have worked very hard to provide the best service possible for the people of Giles County. I would like very much the opportunity to continue to serve as Register of Deeds."

Gibbons is the daughter of the late Robert D. and Opal Garner of the Fall River and Shores communities. She and her husband Robert C. (Bobby) Gibbons have been married for 32 years and have three children and three grandchildren.

Gibbons and her husband are members of the Greenwood Church of Christ.
