The Lady Tigers took a 1-0 lead early in the third inning at Athens. Aarika Boggs reached base on a single and courtesy runner, Jada Norton, later scored on a single hit by Shannon Fogg. Ardmore was able to keep the Lady Eagles from scoring until the bottom of the sixth inning. Kristina Prater hit a single for Athens and later scored on an error by Ardmore. Both teams remained scoreless in the seventh inning and with the game tied 1-1, it went into extra innings.
Callie Steadman led off for the Lady Tigers in the eighth inning, reaching base on a single. Melissa Sharp followed by laying down a perfect bunt. Casey Steadman stepped up to the plate to hit a single to deep center field, scoring Sharp and Steadman. The Lady Tigers ended their bat in the lead by two runs. The Lady Tigers played tight defense in the bottom of the inning to hold the Lady Eagles to just one hit and keeping them from scoring. Ardmore ended the game with a big 3-1 victory Athens.
Shannon Fogg led the Lady Tigers in hits with two singles. Melissa Sharp, Amy Collier, Casey Steadman, Jennifer Ratley, Aarika Boggs, and Callie Steadman each hit a single. Aarika Boggs took the pitching win for Ardmore, striking out three batters, walking one, and permitting six hits. Amber Wise was the catcher.

East Lawrence 0
The Lady Tigers played a very intense game against East Lawrence on Thursday as they won 3-0, picking up their first area win. The game remained scoreless through the seventh inning of the game, forcing extra innings.
In the top of the eighth inning Ardmore rallied with three hits to take a 3-0 lead. Melissa Sharp led off for the Lady Tigers and reached base on a single, followed by Shannon Fogg reaching base on an error. Amy Collier hit a single to deep center field, scoring Sharp, while Casey Steadman flied out to left field scoring Fogg. Amber Wise hit a line drive to left field to score Collier.
The bottom of the eight inning was full of intense play for Ardmore, as two batters were walked, and one reached base on a hit. With the bases loaded, Casey Steadman struck out the final two batters, to end the game. The Lady Tigers brought home a 3-0 victory.
Leading the Lady Tigers in hits was Melissa Sharp with two singles. Amy Collier and Amber Wise each hit a single for Ardmore. Casey Steadman picked up the pitching win for Ardmore, striking out eight batters, walking three, and allowing four hits. Amber Wise served as catcher.
