Jacobs Named New Coach At Elkmont

Don Jacobs was named the new head football coach at Elkmont High School.
The former University of Alabama quarterback replaces Chad McGehee who compiled a 9-11 worksheet after two seasons with the Red Devils. McGehee is returning to Georgia.
With no head coaching experience Jacobs has been the offensive coordinator during his coaching day.
The Scottsboro native comes to Elkmont from Coosa-Central High School in Rockford. Coosa Central had a 4-6 record last season. He has also coached at Troy State and Alabama A & M.
