I hope everyone had an enjoyable Easter Day. The weather was so pretty. Our weather has been so nice overall this spring. I hear of more getting their gardening started. Last Friday "Good Friday" is reported in folklore to be a good day to plant items. Now we are ready for some good rain, because we are beginning to get dry on our hill.

When did we have winter? We did have some cold weather, but nothing this pretty weather can't remove from our memories. So many flowers, shrubbery, and trees have bloomed out so nicely this spring.

I've heard this pretty weather has motivated some to tackle their spring-cleaning. That is a job that is really nice to get completed.

Gary Cornelison and sons Jason and Chris of Centralia, MO spent the past week here with his mother Mrs. Margaret Cornelison, and other family members.

Freda Cornelison Mullins is scheduled for surgery April 27. This date is also her birthday. We are wishing her a successful operation, a fast recovery, and many more birthdays…just not as eventful as this one is planned.
