The past weekend we had beautiful weather, and for the girls softball team the weather was perfect for Victory! The girls won the county tournament at Clements. Special congratulations to the following for making the All-Tournament team: Emily Sutton, Summer Adams, Elizabeth Locke, Meagen Tribble, and Bailee Robinson.
Many of our students attended the Special Olympics on Friday and brought back ribbons for their efforts. The EHS fourth and fifth grade Scholars Bowl placed second in the competition at Cedar Hill on Friday. Members of the team are Zach Boyd, Jacob Blenkinsopp, Emily Lewis, Trevor Patterson, River Robinson, Kaela Wright, and Chris Gooch. Their coach is Greg Sutton.
Students and faculty are looking forward to the break on Friday and Monday of next week. School will be out for weather make-up days.
And now for the featured seniors of the week…
