S. Viarengo Ronald S. Viarengo, 62, of Holt Road, Athens, AL, formerly of Connecticut, died Monday, April 23, 2007, at Huntsville Hospital, Huntsville, AL. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 25, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 26, at 2 p.m. at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Father Charles Alookaran officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery in Elkmont, AL, with Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home in charge. Ronald S. Viarengo was born December 7, 1944, in Hartford, CT, to John Viarengo and Alice Viarengo. He lived in this area nine years after coming from Connecticut. He was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Athens, AL, and a Vietnam veteran of the Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Jane Viarengo of Athens, AL; son, Robert Viarengo of Cromwell, CT; daughter, Kelly Porter of Bloomfield, CT; brother, Robert Viarengo of West Hartford, CT; sisters, Patricia Levitan of Marietta, PA and Nancy Nauss of Spring, TX; and two grandchildren, Andray Porter and Sevanna Porter. Christopher Pascal Beckman Christopher Pascal Beckman died Saturday, April 21, 2007, at his residence in Ardmore, TN. A formal memorial service will be held at St. Mary of the Visitation Catholic Church at a later date with burial at Maple Hill Cemetery. A rosary was held at the home of Nancy Beckman in Huntsville, AL, on Tuesday, April 24, at 6 p.m. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family. Mr. Beckman was an Army veteran from the Vietnam Era, a member of the American Legion Post 237 and VFW Post 2702. He was preceded in death by his parents, William H. Beckman, Sr. and Emma Ruth Coker Beckman; sisters, Rosa Beckman Humphrey and husband William, Eva Beckman McCoy and husband Buddy, and Mary Beckman McBride, and brother-in-law, Tom Gentry. Survivors include daughters, Evelyn Beckman of Huntsville and Donna Beckman Hesseler and 11 grandchildren including Nick, Tommy and Kevin Strickland, and Matthew Beckman of Harvest; sisters Evelyn Beckman Gentry of Rockhill, SC, and Bernadette Beckman Ramsey of Huntsville; brothers, Thomas Beckman and wife Joyce of Madison, William H. Beckman Jr. and wife Betty of New Market, Robert Beckman and wife Mary Ann of Killen, Anthony Beckman and wife Mary of Houston, TX, Raphael Beckman and wife Dale of Arab and Leo Beckman of Russellville; and brother-in-law, Robert Anderson McBride of Huntsville; ex-wife Betty Beckman Brown and husband Walter of Harvest; and 52 nieces and nephews. James Buster Holley James Buster “Pinball” Holley, 53, of Elkmont, AL, died Monday, April 16, 2007, at Huntsville Hospital. Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 18, at 1 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in the Shiloh Cemetery in Dellrose, TN with Carr & Erwin Funeral Home in charge. James Buster Holley was born September 18, 1953 in Pulaski. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Junior Holley and Ruth Baxter Tidwell, and one brother, William Roy “Bebop” Holley. Survivors include his son, James Brian Holley of Elkmont, AL; daughter, Ginger Leigh Holley of Arlington, VA; two brothers, Ricky Holley of Elkton and Mike Holley of Murfreesboro, TN; five sisters, Tana Harris of Pulaski, Carla Reynolds of Pulaski, Christie Horn of Athens, AL, Gina Harrison of Pulaski, and Jennifer Tidwell of Pulaski; and three grandchildren. Coleman L. Hargrave Coleman L. Hargrave, 85, of Baker, FL, died Monday, March 26, 2007, at West Florida Hospital. Funeral services were held Friday, March 30, at 10:30 a.m. at Airport Road Church of Christ in Crestview with Ministers Tom Dugan and Jason Green officiating. Burial was in the Liveoak Park Memorial Cemetery. Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Coleman Hargrave was born January 2, 1922, in Blanche, TN, and moved to Baker, FL, in 1959 from Owens Cross Roads, AL. He retired from Baker School where he worked as a teacher from 1959-1981. He was a member of Airport Road Church of Christ and was a preacher for over 50 years. He served with the United States Army and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Tula Hargrave of Baker, FL; a son, Roy Dennis Hargrave and wife Cathy of Panama City, FL; daughters, Twila Ann Hargrave and husband Jerry of Pace, FL and Dianne Hargrave of Baker, FL; sisters, Beatrice Anderson of Louisville, KY and Faye Sharp of Ardmore, TN; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary Ruth Wagnon Mary Ruth Wagnon, 68, of Toney, AL, died Tuesday, April 17, 2007, at her residence. Funeral services were held Friday, April 20, at 11 a.m. at Sardis Springs Baptist Church with Tim Keenum officiating. Burial was in the Copeland Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home of Athens in charge. Mary Ruth was born April 18, 1938 in Limestone County, AL. She was a member of Sardis Springs Baptist Church and retired from Huntsville Jetport Security. She was preceded in death by a son, Tim Wagnon; her father, Glenn McCormack; and a granddaughter, Harley Wagnon. Survivors include her husband, Phillip “Penny” Wagnon of Toney, AL; sons, Randall Wagnon and wife Dawn of Toney, AL, Phil Wagnon and wife Pam of Prospect, TN; her mother, Cora McCormack of Bethel, AL; brothers, Wayne McCormack of Florence, AL, Kent McCormack of Murfreesboro, TN, Tony McCormack of Bethel, AL; sister, Clarice Cantrell of Bethel, AL; three grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren. |
