Junior Lady Tigers Are Top
Seed In County Meet

Six softball teams will invade Ardmore Friday and Saturday with one goal in mind: capturing the county championship.

Ardmore and Elkmont drew first round byes in the double elimination meet with a champion expected to be determined in a 4 p.m. contest on Saturday.

East Limestone and Clements will face in the tournament opener at 3 p.m.

Ardmore will face that winner in a 5:20 p.m. contest.

In the 4:10 p.m game West Limestone faces Tanner.

Elkmont will face that winner at 6:30.

Play will resume on Saturday with loser’s bracket contests beginning at 10 a.m. Should Ardmore win Friday they would see action at noon on Saturday. A Friday night loss would put the Lady Tigers in the 10 a.m. game on Saturday.

All games will have a 1 hour time limit or will be 5 innings, whichever comes first. The only exception will be the championship game.

The international tie-breaker will be in effect.

There is a $4 admission charge each day.
