Retirement Celebration For Billy Wales Planned Sunday
A special retirement celebration will be held in honor of Billy Wales, water superintendent, this Sunday, May 6, at the First National Bank Community room, located at 26591 Main Street. The ceremony will take place from 2 PM until 4 PM.

Limestone County Sets ‘07 Graduation Schedule
Believe it or not, it is that time of year again. Seniors at all Limestone County schools, as well as their families, are busily preparing for the end of the school year and commencement ceremonies.

Ardmore Lady Tigers Win Two
The Ardmore Lady Tigers stopped a pair of good teams in sandlot action last week. On Monday Ardmore won at Tanner 4-3 and then defeated Decatur 3-2 in 10 innings.
RedHawk Basketball Camp Set
Martin Methodist College has announced that the school will conduct its annual RedHawk Boys’ Basketball Camp from June 18-22. Boys entering grades 3-12 in the 2007-08 academic calendar are welcome to attend the camp.
Varsity Spring Practice Kicks Off Saturday
The Ardmore High School Varsity Football Team will formally kick off its 2007 spring practice Saturday, May 5. The Tigers, coming off a successful 8-3 season under first-year Head Coach Tracy Malone, are eagerly anticipating getting back into action on the gridiron and preparing for another exciting season.
ABS Trojans are only Tiger foe in playoffs
The Athens Bible School Trojans advanced to the third round of the state baseball playoffs Saturday after defeating Gaston. ABS won the opening game 4-1 and took the nightcap 12-4. They are the only team on the Ardmore schedule that remains alive in the state playoffs.
RedHawk Soccer Day Camp Set June 25-29
Boys and girls six years of age or older are welcome to attend the 2007 RedHawk Soccer Day Camp, led by MMC Head Soccer Coach Paschal Dunne.
Cookeville Classic X Softball Tournament To Be Held May 12
The annual Cookeville Classic X Youth Slow Pitch Softball Tournament will take place on May 12 at the Cane Creek Sportsplex, Cookeville, TN. Now in its 10th year, this tourney has become a favorite for many teams.
Tigers Face Challenging Schedule in 2007
Ardmore High School’s Varsity Football Team will face a challenging gridiron schedule in 2007. Coming off a successful 8-3 campaign, which saw the Tigers make the first round of the playoffs, the team is optimistic going into the new season.
