Junior Lady Tigers Close
Season With A Win

The Ardmore Junior Lady Tiger softball completed their regular season with an 8-4 win at Huntsville last Monday.

Samantha Zeigler and Cherri Berry combined for seven hits for the winners. Zeigler hit a double and three singles for Ardmore. Berry hit a double and two singles. Kaitlyn Green hit a double and single while Shelby Goldsmith hit two singles. Getting one base hit each for the winners were Emily Faulkner, Samantha Taylor and Erica Self.

Amanda Ellis pitched four innings striking out five. Taylor completed the contest.

With the win, Ardmore finishes 21-5.

They captured the championship in tournaments at Sparkman and Elkmont and are the current Limestone County champions.
