Earl Wayne Hazelwood Earl Wayne Hazelwood, 52, of 8th Avenue East, Ardmore, AL, died Wednesday, May 9, 2007, at Athens-Limestone Hospital, Athens, AL. Funeral services were held Saturday, May 12, at 5 p.m. at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Colwell and Rev. Shaun Faulk officiating. Burial was in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Ardmore, AL, with Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home in charge. Wayne Hazelwood was born December 29, 1954, in Huntsville, AL, to Albert Hazelwood and Beckie Jane Rainey Hazelwood (later Hargrove and then Gray). He lived all his life in the Ardmore area and worked in the sheetrock finishing business. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Deborah Hazelwood of Ardmore, AL; son, Jared Lynn Hazelwood and daughter Sarah Montana Hazelwood, both of Ardmore, AL; brothers, Bill Hargrove of Indiana, Jerry Hargrove of Lafayette, TN, Bobby Hargrove of Pennsylvania, Jimmy Hargrove of Ardmore, AL; sisters, Sue Wallace and Juanita Thomas both of Ardmore, AL; and one grandchild, Kaiden Keith Hazelwood. Pallbearers were Brad Pugh, Dustin Pugh, Max Hargrove, Brian Adcock, Bobby Kevin Matlock, and Heath Solomon. Honorary pallbearers were Keith Colwell and Steve Thomas. Mary Ann Shockney Mary Ann Shockney, 62, of Timberlake Drive, Ardmore, AL, formerly of Huntsville, AL, died Saturday, May 12, 2007, at her residence. Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 15, at 11 a.m. at Ardmore First Baptist Church with Rev. Sammy Brister officiating. Burial was in the Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore with Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home in charge. Mary Ann was born August 7, 1944, in Vicksburg, MS, to George William Hill and Daisy Fern Geiselman Hill. She lived in Ardmore three years and seven months after leaving Huntsville, AL. She was a member of the Ardmore First Baptist Church. She was married to Charles Shockney for 45 years. Mrs. Shockney was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Chuck Shockney of Ardmore, AL; two sons, Jeff (Lois) Shockney of Elkmont, AL, and Darren (Christy) Shockney of Toney, AL; one daughter, Holly Camp of Ardmore, AL; brother, David Hill of Searcy, AR; six grandchildren, Robert (Beth) Shockney of Toney, AL, James Shockney of Elkmont, AL, Daniel Shockney of Huntsville, AL, Anna Shockney of Toney, AL, Rachel and Brooke Camp of Ardmore, AL; and three great-grandchildren, Gracie, Hope and Faith Shockney. |
