Garden Tours Slated Saturday, June 3rd

The Flower Garden Tours sponsored by the Friends of the Ardmore Public Library will be held Saturday, June 3, 2006. The gardens will be open for viewing from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm. 

This year’s tour will include four private homes in the Ardmore area including the homes of Melvin and Linda Lou Foster, 20 Slaughter Pen Road; Jack and Helen Mathis, 29575 Gatlin Road; Curtis and Shelia Dean, 28430 Johnson Cemetery Road, and Earl and Charlotte Greene, 25050 AL Hwy 251. The tour also includes the Historic Bryan House Museum and Court Yard at 26494 First Street in downtown Ardmore.

Advanced tickets are $8.00 and tickets the day of the tours will be $10.00.  For tickets or information contact the Ardmore Public Library 931-427-4883. This is a self-guided tour with hostesses at each site. A detailed map is printed on the ticket which is admission to all gardens.  Bottled water, compliments of Piggly Wiggly, will be available at each location. Proceeds from this event will be used toward promoting a better library in the Ardmore, AL/TN community.
