Arctic Edge Offers VBS Fun For Children

Children throughout the Ardmore area will have a chance to go on an adventure to Lifeway’s Arctic Edge during Vacation Bible School (VBS) activities June 5-9. Participants will enjoy a daily excursion from Big Bear Lodge. They will be hiking across the tundra, exploring the seascape by kayak, and skimming the back country in a float plane.

Based on Joshua 1:9, Arctic Edge helps kids find the courage required to follow Jesus in every day challenges as thy learn that God is always with them.

Daily activities will include Bible stories, crafts, missions, music, refreshments and more.

Local churches offering the Arctic Edge adventure include First Baptist Church in Ardmore, Piney Grove Baptist Church and Wooley Springs Baptist Church.

First Baptist Church will have classes available for children ages kindergarten through sixth grade. The VBS will be from 8:30 until 12:00 each day. First Baptist Church is located at 26670 Fifth Street in Ardmore.

Piney Grove Baptist Church has classes for kindergarten through sixth grade. VBS will be held from 9:00 a.m. until noon each day at the church located at 28430 Pinedale Road in Ardmore. Family night will be Sunday, June 11, at 5:30 p.m.

Classes will be available for children ages four years old through sixth grade at Wooley Springs Baptist Church. The VBS kick off will be Sunday, June 4, at 3 p.m. There will be games and activities across the road from the church on the paved parking lot. Classes will be held each day from 9:00 until 12:00 at the church located at the corner of Hwy. 251 and Bethel Road.
