Members of both the Boys’ and Girls’ 2006 Ardmore High School Golf Teams were honored on May 23 at the annual Spring Sports Banquet, held at Ardmore High School.

Head Golf Coach John South took the podium to present honors to the members of the 2006 AHS Girls’ and Boys’ Golf Teams. It was a particularly auspicious occasion for the girls’ team, which won the first ever Limestone County Girls’ Golf Tournament.

South also paid tribute to the hard work and dedication of the members of the boys’ team and, even though their season record failed to match that of the girls, the boys’ team showed consistent signs of growth and great promise for the future.

After introducing members of both the girls’ and boys’ teams, South presented awards to several players for their outstanding achievements on the links.
