June 21 at 10 a.m. is the beginning of the summer reading program “Jungle Tales---Hiss, Rumble & Roar.” This first program will have Nan Fallin of T&N Acres with an animal exhibit. There should be a wallaby, snake, silky dove, fannic fox, hissing cockroach, hedgehog among other things. Over a hundred children have already signed up for the four-week program.

Thanks to Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home, Audio Enhancers, Butler Realtors, City/Town of Ardmore, Civitan Club, First American, and First National for the money donated to the library’s summer reading program and to Dollar General Market, Lake Winnepesaukah, Movie Gallery, Nashville Zoo, Southern Adventures and Tennessee Aquarium along with others for coupons and prizes.

Thanks to the historic society and the Bryan House Town Hall and Museum, Melvin and Linda Lou Foster, Jack and Helen Mathis, Curtis and Shelia Dean, and Earl and Charlotte Green for opening up their gardens and home for the June 3rd Garden Tour. Proceeds from the garden tour will go toward purchases for the Ardmore Public Library.
