Health Fair At Bobo VFD CASA will sponsor a free Health Fair Thursday, June 15, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Bobo Volunteer Fire Department on Old Railroad Bed Rd. Free screenings will include blood pressure, blood sugar, vision, hearing and bone density. There will also be pick up information on other subjects that might interest those attending. Everyone is invited to come out and take advantage of these free tests and stay for a free lunch. District 1 Commisioner Roger Jones will provide lunch and the Madison Cross Roads Homemakers will provide desserts. This is a joint effort among these groups to better provide for our community. Everyone is encouraged to take advantage of this offer. “The tests are virtually pain free and we promise lunch will be good,” said Opaline West of the Madison Cross Roads Homemakers. |
