Donald Scott Renfroe, 23, of Hazel Green, AL, died Tuesday, May 30, 2006, in an automobile accident.

Funeral services were held Friday, June 2, at 1 p.m. at the Hazel Green Funeral Home with Bro. Joel Carwile officiating. Burial was in the New Sharon Cemetery with Hazel Green Funeral Home in charge.

Survivors include his wife, Ashley Cole Renfroe; children, Bayleigh Elizabeth and Donald Anthony Renfroe; his parents, Donald Lloyd and Lisa Posey Renfroe; grandparents, Janie and Jimmy Posey, Martha Brys, and Lloyd and Wilma Renfroe; aunts, Kim Jones, Jody Childers, and Tia Lindsey Honea; uncles, Mike Jones, Rocky Childers, P.D. Renfroe, Marty Brys, and Wesley Lindsey; numerous great aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.

Nellie Claudine Spinks

Nellie Claudine Spinks, 81, of Main Street, Ardmore, TN, formerly of Hokes Bluff, AL, died Monday, June 5, 2006, in Ardmore.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 7, at Crestwood Funeral Home in Gadsden. Funeral services will be announced by Crestwood Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Crestwood Cemetery in Gadsden, AL. Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.

Nellie Claudine Bryant was born March 25, 1925 in Hokes Bluff, AL, to Fred Bryant and Ada Belle Beluh Bryant. She lived most of her life in Hokes Bluff, AL. She was a homemaker and member of Bachelors Chapel Baptist Church in Hokes Bluff, AL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Thomas Spinks.

Survivors include one daughter, Sandra (Ray) Stonecypher of Ardmore, AL; two sons, Gary Dale Spinks of South Carolina and Larry Glen Spinks of Gadsden, AL; one sister, Inez Emma Frances Hutchins of Gadsden, AL; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Terry Wayne (Foo Foo) Helton, 50, of Elkmont, AL, died Sunday, June 4, 2006, at Athens-Limestone Hospital.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 6, at 3:30 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home Chapel in Pulaski. Burial was in the Gatlin Cemetery with Carr & Erwin Funeral Home in charge.

Survivors include his father, Franklin D. Nunley of Indiana; his mother, Joyce Ann Walls of Pulaski, TN; wife, Catherine Helton of Elkmont, AL; five sons, Robert Wayne Helton of Columbia, TN, Wayne Travis of Ardmore, AL, Michael Travis of Ardmore, AL, Kevin Travis of Minor Hill, TN, and Jason Travis of Elkmont, AL; three daughters, Shannon Lea Shay of Pulaski, TN, Sunshine Helton of North Carolina and Elizabeth Sarah Ann Helton of Pulaski, TN; one brother, Nathan Walls of Lawrenceburg, tN; one sister, Veda Severs of Arkansas; and 13 grandchildren.
