The Kountry Kids Horse Show, Barrel Race & Calf Roping will be held at the Limestone County Sheriff’s Arena on AL Hwy. 99 in Athens Saturday, June 10. Gates open at 8 a.m. Exhibitions begin at 9 a.m.

Over 30 different events will be held including stick horse race, lead line barrels, rescue race, open halter and more. Other activities will include arts and crafts, a moonwalk, concessions and giveaways.

Admission is $2.00 with kids under 10 admitted free. All proceeds from the event will benefit 11-year-old West Limestone student Kelsey Kennemer who will compete in the National Fianls Rodeo in New Mexico on July 10.
