Limestone County Announces Pre-Kindergarten Program
Limestone County School District will have a four-year-old Pre-School Program for the 2006-2007 school year. The program operates in collaboration with the Office of School Readiness (OSR) and is partially funded through a grant.


Tuition Deadline Nears For Ardmore, Tenn. Students
The deadline for paying tuition fees for Ardmore, TN residents who plan for their children to attend either Ardmore High School or Cedar Hill Elementary School during 2006-07 is rapidly approaching.


Main Street Turn Lane Nears Completion
Motorists traveling west along Main Street in Ardmore now find it somewhat easier to make it through the traffic light at the intersection with Ardmore Avenue. Work on the new left turn lane is nearly complete and officials of both the City of Ardmore, TN and the Town of Ardmore, AL hope that the completed project will help ease traffic flow at the congested intersection.


Sanderson To Run For Mayor
Tommy Sanderson, a Giles County native, has announced his candidacy for the City of Elkton mayoral office. The election will be held in August 2006.


Griffith To Run For Alderman
Paige Griffith has announced her candidacy for the office of City of Elkton, Alderman. Griffith lives in Elkton with her husband and two children.


AHS Names Rebecca Martin Head Varsity Volleyball Coach
Rebecca Martin will take over the reins of the Varsity Volleyball Team at Ardmore High School in the 2006 season. Martin will succeed former Head Coach Shannon Phillips, who made a decision in the spring to step down from the position.


10th Annual Spirit Camp Scheduled For June 26 - 29
Girls between the ages of five-years-old and sixth grade will have the opportunity to participate in an exciting and educational cheerleading program as Ardmore High School hosts its 10th Annual Spirit Camp June 26 - June 29.


Ardmore Xtreme Take Second
Consecutive Limestone County Title
A year ago the Ardmore Xtreme, a 12-and-under girls’ softball team, had a highly successful season, which was topped off with a Limestone County Championship. The 2006 season was even better.
