This week’s Passing Parade picture is a picture of the Tennessee Liz Ables family. This family was such a happy family. They had such good dinners and Mama Ables made the best half moon pies. Katie Sue Ables Williams could bake such delicious cakes.

This picture was taken at an Easter dinner. They invited Bob Allen Gray to be with them. At this time, Tennessee Liz Ables was about 19 years old. Leonard Locker came with his camera and we took some good pictures. They lived at Prospect.

It was stated that Tennessee Liz wrote the Prospect News for over 40 years.

Ruth Roles, LPN and Margie Galloway of Alabama came to see me recently. When Mrs. Salter, RN, our nurse instruct, sent me down to the first floor of the hospital to start my LPN training, she said they would be nice to work with and they were great.

When I started, Ruth Roles LPN took me to central supply to see what I had to do. Edith Bouldin LPN told me what each medicine did for patients. Billy Cross LPN took me to the O.B. to see what to do there. I worked there nearly 17 years and it was a happy life indeed.

Thanks to Don and Carol Bouldin and son Todd for the flowers they sent me. I loved them.

Also thanks for all the cards I have been getting.
