Paul Sparks Paul Sparks, 70, of Toney, AL, died Sunday, June 4, 2006, at Huntsville Hospital. Paul was a member of the Taft Full Gospel Church. Survivors include his wife, Jessie Sparks; four children, Tina Howell, David Sparks, Darlene Brumlow, Vickie Bean; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two brothers, Kenneth and Lema Sparks; three sisters, Pauline Stafford, Stella Lewis and Ruby Nell Phillips; and several nieces and nephews.

James Burlan Tucker, 86, of Ardmore, AL, died Wednesday, June 14, 2006, at his residence.

Graveside services were held Friday, June 16, at 2 p.m. at Bevills Chapel Cemetery in Hazel Green, AL, with Bro. Arnie Elliff officiating. Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

James Burlan Tucker was born November 28, 1919, in Madison County, AL, to Roy and Mae Hill Tucker. He was a veteran of World War II and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy.

Survivors include daughters, Peggy Banks of Charlotte, NC, Sarah fanning of Gurley, AL, Sandra Tallent of Ardmore, TN, and Janice Gunderson of Athens, AL; two sisters, Velmer Loggins of Birmingham, AL, and Ruth Brooks of Hazel Green, AL; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
