10th Annual Spirit Camp Underway

Exciting sounds of Tiger cheers and dance music can be heard drifting from the gym at Ardmore High School this week as girls between the ages of five-years-old and sixth grade are participating in an exciting and educational cheerleading program.
Ardmore High School is hosting its 10th Annual Spirit Camp, which began on Monday and will continue through tomorrow.
The hours of the camp are 9 AM through 11:30 AM.
According to all those who have attended the camp in past years, the experience gained is both valuable and informative. Last year, a total of 53 girls turned out for the 9th Annual Spirit Camp.
The camp is being led by AHS Cheerleading Sponsor Dana Clem and the AHS Varsity Cheerleading Squad. In addition to the fundamentals of cheerleading and various routines, the Tiger Cheerleading Squad arre teaching the routines and cheers learned at the UCA Camp in Tuscaloosa. AHS cheerleaders are attended the UCA camp last week.
