This week’s Passing Parade is a picture of the Hospital Party with Lawrence Honey, Ruby McGee Farrar, LPN and Bob Allen Gray, LPN. We meet each year at The Presbyterian Church on Lewisburg Highway to celebrate with those we worked with. I was there about 17 years.

Ruby McGee Farrar was my charge nurse on the second floor of the hospital. Some of the other nurses on the second floor were Eula McElroy, Capitola Jordan, Trudy Thorpe, LPN, Ruthie Winsett, LPN, Pauline Loyd and Ruby Renfro.

Sympathy to the family of Mr. Prince who got shot. His family lived at Liberty in 1923.

Passing Parade

One day Ada Lee Prince, Nell Gray and I spread dinner at the old Methodist Church. Mildred Locker was our teacher at Liberty School.

I have been visiting Pat Hereford Webb at the old Riley Gray farm. Ruby Wallace gave us a big meal. I got to go to Gail’s Country Kitchen, too.

We visited Lillian Henderson Wilson of Buggar Hollow.
