This week’s Passing Parade picture is of Mayme Bradford and Bob Allen Gray. I met Mayme Bradford in Flintville, TN. Later I was in a restaurant in Nashville, TN, and she waited on our group. I was there to attend the wedding of Shirley Ann Fort and Joe Segraves. Jimbo Gray was the one to give Shirley in marriage to Joe. Shirley Ann Fort was the Homecoming Queen at David Lipscomb. She is a member of the Liberty Church of Christ.
She and Mr. Segraves were schoolteachers at Searcy, AR. Shirley was born June 30, 1935 on Lane Lane. She used to go skating with Billy Hugh Corder, Marie Williams, Willa Dean Locker, Josephine Jones, Bobby Corder, Jean Hunt and Bob Allen Gray.
Sympathy to the family of Mrs. Eunice McAlister. Her son and daughter went t o Liberty School. Sympathy to the family of Mr. Parkinson who died recently.
We had a good time at the Stoney Point Church of Christ monthly singing. Ben Rutledge is minister there. One of the main song leaders wanted me to be a regular singer at the singings.
