Limestone County Clean Up Crew Wins World Series Warm Up Title

The Limestone County Clean Up Crew, a nine-year-old baseball team, recently traveled to compete in the USSSA World Series Warm Up Tournament. The Clean Up Crew played outstanding baseball in both pool and tournament play and eventually won the 2006 tournament championship.

According to team coaches, the Clean Up Crew played great ball on both offense and defense and displayed good sportsmanship both on and off the field. In pool play, the team won its first two games, but lost the third game by only one run.

In tournament action, the Clean Up Crew was seeded first and won both of its games to notch the championship.

Members of the Limestone County Clean Up Crew include: Randall Stanford, Justin Ursery, Peyton Moran, Blake Tucker, Grant Baugher, Hunter Brazeal, Jared Bailee, Dakota Siniard, Hunter Morgan, Dylan McCluskey, and Hunter Moore.
