The Piney Grove Baptist Church B.A.S.I.C. youth expressive worship group will present a program at the Ardmore, AL Park Wednesday, July 19, at 7 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.

An American Red Cross Blood Drive will be held Thursday, July 27, from 1-7 p.m. at First Baptist Church Family Life Center, 26670 Fifth Street in Ardmore, AL. Donors will receive a vintage American Red Cross baseball hat, an American Red Cross T-shirt and meal coupons compliments of Pizza Hut. The church youth will also be doing a FREE car wash from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. that day.

A 35th Jaco Family Reunion will be held at The Hilton Garden Inn on Governors House Drive in Huntsville, AL, the weekend of July 28-29. All descendants of the family are invited to attend and bring Jaco genealogy, old photos, stories and mementos to share. There is no charge. There will be a special meeting Sunday, July 30 at 10 a.m. Information will be posted in the lobby. On July 29th those attending can meet and greet each other during the day and evening. A book of the Jaco genealogy is being written by Allen Jaco of McMinnville, TN.

The Sand Springs Baptist Church Caring Heart Mission is in need of donations of cotton fabrics, your granny squares or yarn thread. People are also needed to help sew in their own homes.
