Same old story, we are still dry, awaiting a good rain. We received 3/10 Friday night, but it was gone quickly Saturday. The crops and gardens sure could use a good slow rain.

The sunflowers are in full bloom along with the zinnias, crape myrtle, and Rose of Sharon.

The German Town Get Together had a nice crowd in attendance Saturday at the Oak Grove Clubhouse. Several younger folks were in attendance, and there was much food available. It was an enjoyable day for the event. There were local folks and several that drove a good ways to attend, however there was room for more. It is scheduled again next year in July, the third Saturday, July 15, 2007. Mark you planner and be ready to attend.

Stacy & Beth Faulkner and girls, Emily and Kelsey, arrived home Saturday after a week’s vacation in Florida.

Mrs. Leola Young has been in rehab and was scheduled to get home Monday. Hope she continues to get stronger.
