Tuition fees for Ardmore, TN residents who plan for their children to attend either Ardmore High School or Cedar Hill Elementary School during 2006-07 are due by Friday, July 28.

Fees of $320.79 must be paid at the Ardmore, TN City Hall no later than Friday, July 28, 2006. The fee per student is $5.59 higher than last year’s cost of $315.20 and is based on the estimated rate of the ad valorem taxes that would be paid by the student’s parents if they lived in Limestone County, Alabama.

A joint maintenance agreement concerning the fee was drawn up on August 17, 1989. The agreement spelled out how the tuition rate would be determined and when the payments from the Giles County Board of Education to the Limestone County Board of Education must be paid.

According to the agreement, bus transportation would not be provided by the Limestone County Board of Education to students from Tennessee.
